What do Luke Skywalker, the Care Bears and the Justice League have in common? You could buy them all as Cromy stickers and trading cards in South America in the 80’s and 90’s. Just shy of 40 years later, Cromy evolved as NFTs and is celebrating a brilliant comeback on the Assembly network. Welcome to the ecosystem!
Cromy introduces itself
If you grew up in South America during the 80’s and 90’s, the chances are that you vividly remember Cromy. With over 169 card games, 69 sticker albums, and more than 100 collectibles in multiple formats, the Cromy Club had more than 500,000 members in Latin America. Thanks to the Assembly ecosystem, we will make it possible to celebrate Cromy’s revival in 2022 and reawaken the passion of collectors everywhere with the latest technology – leveraging digitalization for a metaverse take on collecting the things we love.
With our unique take on NFTs, we will launch Cromy, a platform where people can digitally recreate the thrill of exchanging their favorite stickers during school breaks. Cromy takes the needs of NFT collectors and creators into consideration: collectors will have the NFT launcher to showcase and play within the social gaming platform, while creators will have an accessible way to monetize their collections through Cromy’s No-Code Drag and Drop Experience Builder.
A dream is coming true. When we look back at our childhoods, we fondly remember trading our favorite collections with classmates during lunch breaks. Thanks to Assembly and its novel architecture, we will be able to bring this experience to the next generation of collectors and creators alike. As a result of the low minting costs and flexibility when it comes to fee structures, Cromy will be even more accessible than it was back in the day. We can’t wait to release our platform and see how people take collecting to the next level.

About Assembly
Assembly is designed as a parallelized multi-chain network of blockchains offering sharded, composable smart contracts, anchored into the feeless IOTA DAG protocol. Assembly’s sharded multi-chain nature will provide flexibility, scalability, and interoperability as a smart contract network for mainstream innovation and mass adoption. It will do so by offering flexible smart contract execution fees, fast and secure smart contract execution, trustless and feeless native asset transfers across utility chains, full customization of utility chains, composability of dApps, compatibility with the Ethereum virtual machine and other VMs in the future.
In Assembly, anyone will be enabled to launch their own smart contract chain as a utility chain, offering flexible customization of execution fees and incentive structures for validators. Any Assembly utility chain will be overseen by the open, permissionless, decentralized, and dynamic Assembly validator pool, executing and validating smart contracts deployed to the utility chains. Validators can be requested by utility chains from the Assembly root chain using an open marketplace. Validators contributing to the security of the Assembly root chain or utility chains will be rewarded with the network’s native token, ASMB, and potentially additional tokens the utility chains might create and award to validators.
